This policy explains what information The Vault Jiu-Jitsu (“The Vault,” “we,” “us”) collects when you visit vaultbjj.com, book a class, sign a waiver or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are a family-owned jiu-jitsu academy at 25 South Morton Ave, Morton, PA 19070.

What we collect

• Information you give us. Your name, email, phone number and any message you send when you call, text, email or book with us. For kids, a parent or guardian gives us the child's name, age and emergency contact details.
• Booking and payment information. When you book a class or buy a membership or pass, you do it through Mindbody, our scheduling and payment provider. Mindbody collects your account and card details. We see your bookings, membership and payment history, but we do not store full card numbers on our website.
• Waivers. Waivers are signed online through Smartwaiver. The waiver collects your name, contact details, date of birth, signature and any information you choose to share on the form.
• Website usage. Like most websites, ours automatically receives basic technical information such as your browser, device, IP address, the pages you visit and the links you click. We collect this through cookies and similar tools described below.

How we use it

• To schedule your classes, run your membership and take payments.
• To answer your questions and send you booking confirmations, reminders and updates about your classes.
• To send occasional emails or texts about our programs and offers, if you have agreed to receive them.
• To understand how people use our website, and to measure and improve our advertising.
• To keep our members, staff and facility safe, and to meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies from these services:

• Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram). Tells Meta when someone visits our pages or clicks a button such as “Book Your Free Class,” so we can measure our ads and show them to people who may be interested. See Meta's privacy policy.
• Google Analytics and Google Ads. Helps us see how visitors find and use our site and whether our Google ads lead to bookings. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
• Mindbody. Our class schedule and booking pages are provided by Mindbody, which may use its own cookies and may share booking activity with the analytics and advertising tools above. See Mindbody's privacy policy.
• Customer lists. We may upload a hashed (scrambled) list of member and customer contact details, such as email addresses and phone numbers, to Meta and Google, so we can leave current members out of our ads or reach people similar to our members. The platforms use the hashed list only for this matching. To opt out, contact us using the details below and we will leave you off these lists.
• Site basics. Our web host and security provider, and Google Fonts, receive technical information needed to deliver the site quickly and securely.

Your choices

• Ads from Meta: manage them in your Facebook ad preferences.
• Ads from Google: manage them in Google My Ad Center.
• Google Analytics: opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Interest-based ads in general: visit the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page.
• Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some features may not.
• Emails: click “unsubscribe” at the bottom of any marketing email.
• Texts: reply STOP to any marketing text. Message and data rates may apply.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run The Vault, such as Mindbody (booking and payments), Smartwaiver (waivers), our email and text messaging tools, our web host, and the analytics and advertising services listed above. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our members, staff or the public.

Children

Our kids program is for children ages 4 and up, and a parent or guardian signs up, books classes and signs the waiver for each child. Our website and online booking are meant to be used by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information online, contact us and we will delete it.

How long we keep it and how we protect it

We keep your information for as long as you are a member or customer and as long as needed afterward for our records and legal obligations. We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect it, but no website or online service can be completely secure.

Your requests

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop marketing messages. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
